The most interesting parts of Belgrade for the tourist is between the outer walls of the Kalemegdan fortress and the Republic Square. This is an area with a diameter about 1300 meters. Most tourist destinations are within walking distance of each other. Traffic in Belgrade is very dense, and the public transport system is somewhat less cash. You should plan your visit on foot.
