Durmitor National Park is the largest of all the National Parks of Montenegro, which covers an area of about 39,000 hectares.

Of all the national parks of Montenegro, Lake Skadar National Park is the most experienced paradise ornithologists, as it is home to many marsh birds, including the rare Dalmatian pelican, which is also the symbol of the park.
