The value of construction works done in Montenegro in the first quarter of 2008 amounted to about 45.86 M euros, which is 45% more than in the same period last year. According to preliminary data of Monstat, the country’s official statistics bureau, the number of man hours expended on construction sites was 17% higher than in the first quarter 2007 and their value was 2.16 M euros. There were about 4,000 workers employed in construction works, which is 25% more than in the same period last year.
