| Foreign worker numbers swell |

The total number of foreign nationals employed in Montenegro has skyrocketed to 32,690, according to the Employment Agency of Montenegro. The figure represents a 67% increase over the number registered at this time last year. The official unemployment rate in the country fell to 11.45% last week. The previous week the rate was 11.5%. The highest unemployment rate recorded was 32.7% in July 2000.
